HOW-TO Enter 24.900MHz scanning program on the RANGER AR-3500

FIRST ENTER ONE MEMORY CHANNEL AS MEMCH1. Use normal procedure.

Note*   Set low scan range, you can stop @ 3.450, 4.450, 7.45
        10.450, 18,450, 21.450 or 24.450 as in the example
Note**  Set low scan range, if you want you can stop earlier.
Note*** Set high scan range, sets the upper freqvency range.

The RANGER is now set to operate from 24.900 to 28.000MHz,
please read this before!

The buttons [ 1M ],[100K],[ 10K],[ 1K ] DON'T WORK ANY MORE!!
To change frequency you only use the [SCAN UP and SCAN DOWN]
buttons and the SQ pot, but DON'T RESET!!!
When the SQ is active, you may change the scan step by pressing
[100K],[ 10K] or [ 1K ] buttons. Dont scan up to the high scan
range, trhe display will FREEZE, and you have to reset and start
al ower again!.
