![]() - Trapped 160/80/40 meter dipole - 2006.10.28 Trying to calculate a multiband dipole using trapps. The information about making the trapps is found in the help-file of the exelent software 'CoaxTrap' by author VE6YP. Software is to be found @ xxxxxxx The dipole is made of Swedish military telephone wire 'DL1000' - I calculate the wave-speed factor to be about 0.92. The coax trapps is made on a 50mm PVC tube using RG58/U with capacitance op 95pF/meter and with the o/d of 5mm. ![]() Dipol layout (One side) - Technical data - SPECIFICATIONS ======================================== (Theoretical/calculation with wave-speed factor 0.92) (One dipole half) A 40 meter section ......... 9,76 meter A+B 80 meter sections ...... 18,46 meter A+B+C 160 meter sections ... 36,80 meter Manufactory ................
