- HomeBrew Weather computer -
2007.01.03 - Built this homebrew computer to use with my webcam and weatherstation. The unit is made from one scraped BK630 (BookPC) motherboard and a powersupply from an old siemens PC giving about 150W

The enclosure is home-made, the idea is to get a small, low-budget, noice-free unit for hoocking up to my automatic weather monitoring page updates.

A look inside...

The Weather computer also captures weather images every 10minutes and upload the image to my website. The images is stored and automaticly animated to 24hours movies every night @ 23:55.

The camera is a standard USB web-camera 'Philips Vista' mounted in an outdoor aluminium enclosure.
